The
2006 photos show Sioux Falls rooms to have retained their
general layout, and certain HJ features may have survived
like the second vanities and Pamper Panels.
Note
the tent card in the above postcard view. It was advertising
HoJo's American Rainbow campaign of the early 1970s! |

The
brochure room view from the late 1980s showed the rooms to be
color coordinated and well-appointed. The more recent images from
the Oak's website show the rooms to be on the spartan side, worn,
and less than well-coordinated. |

An
addition to the complex, the lounge was built to the left of the
Restaurant. By at least the middle 1980s it was using the Sunbird
name. Be sure to check out their webpage to see the swingers of
Sioux Falls enjoying libations and live entertainment! |
