George
Washington Hotel, Winchester, Va.
The George Washington,
a thoroughly fireproof and modern hotel of 150 rooms,
is operated entirely on the European plan. All bedrooms
are large, well ventilated, artistically furnished
and arranged both singularly and in suites. Although,
with its modern conveniences, the entire hotel maintains
its colonial design and atmosphere in its architecture
and coloring.
Above
and Below: Note that once the HoJo's was
installed that the hotel lost a stairwell and entry from
N. Cameron Street.
