Bob stayed in the Motor
Lodge back in 1994. He said that it had a "great restaurant--very
professionally run and maintained Motor Lodge too!" Bob
Venditti's photo above is the only one I have that shows any
of the former Motor Lodge.
The site that was once
a circa 1962 Howard Johnson's Motor Lodge and 1953 Restaurant
is now a Courtyard by Marriott. After the Restaurant and Motor
Lodge ceased being Howard Johnson's (the Motor Lodge was last
listed in Cendant's 1999 directory), the Restaurant was demolished
along with parts of the Motor Lodge. Richard's pool shot below
shows that the Courtyard replaced the original one.
