Exit 21B New York
Thruway @ U.S. 9W |
Designed to siphon
business away from Service Plazas along the Thruway, the Restaurant
failed.
Although there is a motel
nearby, Jack speculated that the HoJo's original purpose may
have been to complement an adjacent truck stop.

Mr. Thomas noted that
even as the Mansard Restaurant had been painted brown, bits of
yellowish-orange peeked through. He also said that some of the
kitchen equipment was scattered around the area including the
piece below which may have been original to the Restaurant. |
