While
the room itself was disappointing since it had been so poorly
"remodeled," the bathroom nearly made up for it. Except
for the lack of its glass shower door, the bathroom was a terrific
example of how HoJo's bathrooms had once been.

& Below: The plumbing fixtures dated from
1960 -- the Motor Lodge's opening! Quite intuitive to use and
an elegantly simple design, the sink's faucet was operated by
manipulating the lever. Although only used in a few circa 1960s
Motor Lodges the fixture type can be seen in an image in Howard
Johnson's 1961-1962 Motor Lodge directory.
