Orange Again, but no HoJo's...
A husband and wife team had leased and reopened the long shuttered formerly fabulous Howard Johnson's Restaurant in 2005 as "Nachaz Mariscos Mexican restaurant." While the food was acceptable, they face a difficult uphill struggle to make a go of it, for the Motor Lodge has become a den of dope fiends and prostitutes.

The restaurant's proprietress told me that police raid the former HoJo's Motor Lodge almost nightly, and that its lodgers routinely break the restaurant's large plate glass windows which the property's owner refuses to repair.
