Although original formulas
and recipes are not exactly followed at Lake Placid, the Restaurant
still serves foods that were once Howard Johnson's staples like
Mr. Russo's fried clams! However note the lack of presentation
and the missing cole slaw. |

Since my 2001 visit,
the Restaurant was painted in harsher colors and advertising
was added to the exterior. Most remarkable was the ad that Steven
LJ Russo discovered that was nearly hidden on the side of the
building that featured the traditional Orange Roof logo!! |
